Nicole is an M.S. candidate in Sustainable Development at the University of Michigan’s School for Environment and Sustainability. With a background in conservation and community based research, she is motivated by a dedication to global equity and by strengthening pathways that empower women. In her role with The Steps Forward, Nicole hopes to build meaningful connections within the local community, champion sustainable initiatives, and lead projects that uplift minority and low-income communities.
